Kandace

Dear Kandace,
You are my girl! I cannot believe two years have already come and gone. You have been on the best friends a girl could ask for. I know our friendship is going to continue to grow and flourish because you cannot break a bond like ours. God has something incredible planned for your life and I'm so thankful I get to be apart of that. You continue to amaze me each and every day with your love, strength, determination, and constant trust is God and His will for your life. I have not met a single person that has come into your life and not been touched in some way. You have an amazing gift of relating to others. You have a confidence and presence in you and that people feel comfortable, loved, and completely at ease with themselves and with you. Your voice touches people with its beauty and power. God gave you an amazing gift and I swear I get a stupidly huge grin on my face every time you open your mouth. I truly consider you to be one of my best friends. We may not talk every day or have the luxury of getting to see each other all the time, but just knowing I have your friendship, love, and support behind me wherever I go is a huge blessing I could not even begin to explain how thankful I am for it. You have been my rock the past two years. You believe in me in a way that no one else has and always encouraged me. I have turned to you in some of my darkest moments because I trust you and I love you and I know that you will never abandon me. I am so grateful for you for standing by my side, encouraging me, and praying with and for me. You always make me laugh and we seem to have the most fun together. I love the looks I can give you and you me and we just know. I will miss you avoiding my eye contact when you are messing around or know what I am thinking about whatever you are doing. hahaha. It brings a smile to my face just thinking about those random choir memories. Thank you for everything you have given me and trust me, it is a lot. I could never fully explain how grateful I admire you and appreciate you. You were one of the hardest people to say goodbye to at APU, probably the hardest. I had you introduce me because no one else in choir understood me like you. I've always been straight with you, thank you for trusting me enough to be straight with me. I also wanted to thank you (since I am writing this late, not because I procrastinated, but because it was too hard) for including me in this new journey God is taking you down. Your gift is with this card, I'm sorry it's not more. I want to be in both of your lives and in my new favorite (even if I don't know him) little man's life. You are my sister Kandace and I love you. Remember that more importantly, God loves you. Even if you can't see it right now, the people who mean the most will stand by you and the people who were never meant to be there will cease to be apart of the beautiful life God has laid out for you. I cannot wait to see the incredible heights He takes you to. I love you girl!

Samantha

Dear Sam,
There are no words to describe the love I feel for you. You are my birthday buddy, long lost sister, and wonderfully dear friend!!! I am so blessed to have met you so many years ago. We have so much in common and I am so happy that those coincidences, fortunate and unfortunate, brought us closer together and allowed us to become such good friends. Your friendship means the world to me. You are a beautiful woman inside and out and you continue to bring joy and adventure to my life. I have never met someone with so much enthusiasm and love for life like you. You bring happiness to everyone around you and you make people feel special simply by talking to them. You have the love of God overflowing inside of you whether you recognize that or not His presence is constantly being showing for your love for you friends, fellow music majors, and Bel Canto sisters. They love you, they look up to you, and you have touched each of their lives through your incredible leadership and amazing musical skills. I have loved sharing the stresses of being a music major and all of our other fun issues. :) You are one of the best friends a girl could ask for. I love you so much! I want you to always remember how gorgeous of a person you are in God's eyes and all of the people who love you. We have had so much fun together and pray that our relationships to continue to grow and remain solid for years to come. I loved getting to spend time at your house this summer, that was very exciting for me to get to spend some quality time your mom (my mom :)). I love you girl! You mean so much to me and I hope you know that. Thank you for letting me be apart of your life and letting me in on some of the deepest parts of your life. I know that God has big things planned for you. Trust in His plans for you life, call on Him in your time of need, and remember you are never far from a pair of arms willing to give you the uplifting hug and support that you need. I love you girl! You are so amazing and I greatly admire you. Thank you again for being an incredible blessing upon my life and sticking by me as one of my truest friends. Love you!
